ABOUT THE COMPANY

EXELS is a new Canadian company whose founders have been servicing the manufacturing sector for over 30 years. We currently serve clients throughout North America, but have also provided equipment and solutions in other parts of the world as well.

We are best at implementing new standards in the material handling industry by developing solutions that meet and exceed our customer’s needs and expectations through in-person reviews and close communication.

We ensure that quality is a building block of your chosen solution. We are focused on keeping your manufacturing productivity at its maximum potential. Our goal is to continue to lead the industry by turning challenges into opportunities. The development of our business depends on continuous improvement of the products and services we provide to all of our customers.

We strive to understand your business and capabilities before we give any recommendations – we know that most often the best solutions come from within, from the people working the problems every day, and we want to support those efforts – not supersede them.

Founder

My first exposure to the materials handling world was working for my father installing custom conveyors, racking and shelving. I designed and sold my first overhead monorail in 1990, a complex curved system to handle sheep skins hung from a wooden structure! Since then, I have curated well over 1000 custom solutions, and been involved in as much as five times that many as an adviser/consultant. My experience ranges from 10kg highly repetitive tasks to well over 25T heavy systems. After countless promptings from my previous business owners, customers, staff, colleagues and friends the opportunity arose for me to start EXELS Industrial Solutions.

I believe we are put here to help others and to use our talents and experiences to the best of our abilities with honour and integrity. At EXELS we work with many excellent suppliers, partners, consultants and colleagues who share our values. We do not believe we are limited or funneled by our past achievements but humbly believe we will never stop growing and learning and remain truly grateful to all we have had the opportunity to work for and with.
